Join Ribble Rivers Trust on a circular walk along the banks of the Hodder where we’ll learn more about these elusive nocturnal mammals. The evening begins with refreshments and a presentation about bats, their behaviour and how to detect them. As dusk closes in we will set off on our walk along the river and back through Slaidburn village. Using bat detectors we will listen for the bats as they fly out to feed, tuning into different frequencies to detect their echolocation calls, which can help us identify the species and their location.
