Even the smallest patch of species rich grassland is a haven for biodiversity. In-depth workshop covering most aspects of small scale wildflower meadow creation and management. Topics will include ground preparation, seed collection and sowing, identifying suitable species, propagation and plug planting, and the annual cycle and management of a hay meadow. Gain knowledge on creating, restoring and managing species rich mini-meadows.
Refreshments included but please bring a packed lunch. (Suitable for 16 years and over but all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)
