Join us at Clitheroe Castle Museum for an archaeo-tastic day! Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2022 and book your young archaeologists onto one of our brand new kid’s activities. Unearth artefacts in our dig pits, clean and identify finds and get messy with some clay to make a medieval tile. Just £1.00 to take home. There’s an artefact trail in the museum too and each young archaeologist will receive their very own certificate to take away!
Our sessions will run 11.00am – 12noon and 12.30-1.30pm. Activities are free but places are limited so please phone, email or call in at the museum shop to reserve your place. Tel 01200 424568. Email clitheroecastle@lancashire.gov.uk
From 11am to 3pm you can also drop into our Meet the Archaeologist hub or book onto our Castle Archaeology Tour at 2pm.
