Ribble Valley Live Steamers is a model engineering club based in Clitheroe. A permanent track was built at Edisford Bridge in 1985 and members have a mix of steam, diesel and electric interests. Call in for a special day to meet the members and see a fantastic selection of trains plus live, static steaming outside.
Visitors can also enjoy free entry to the hugely successful On Track exhibition in the Steward’s Gallery. The exhibition curated in partnership with Community Rail will be moving on at the end of January so don’t miss the opportunity to explore the joys of the railways as you discover more about Lancashire’s lost and lasting lines.
Your young railway enthusiasts can also enjoy crafts, games and a runaway train hunt in the museum.
