Did you know that some reindeers live in huge herds of between 50,000 and 500,000? Wow! Reindeers can run fast – up to 48 miles per hour. Nowadays reindeer live in North America, Scandinavia, Iceland and Russia but did you know they used to live in Britain too?
Discover lots more fun facts about reindeers and make your very own reindeer decoration with twig antlers from the Castle grounds. There’s our Christmas competition hunt, free activity sheets and our cosy reading corner to enjoy. Museum admission does not apply to take part in crafts.
During December Clitheroe Castle Museum is open Friday to Tuesday 12 noon – 4pm. (closed Wednesday/Thursday).
