Join Peter Fitton, lifelong railway enthusiast and photographer for an entertaining hour of images featuring Lancashire and beyond.
Born in Yorkshire and bought up in St Anne’s, Peter’s bedroom window overlooked the railway line to Blackpool Central. Peter’s childhood fascination with the railways started here and progressed to photography. Sixty-five years later Peter is still taking photographs. £3.00 with tea, coffee and biscuits. Book online via the https://events.apps.lancashire.gov.uk/w/webpage/event-details?eventid=279629 , contact the museum on 01200 424568 or call in at the museum shop.
Visitors can also enjoy free entry to the hugely successful On Track exhibition in the Steward’s Gallery. The exhibition curated in partnership with Community Rail will be moving on at the end of January so don’t miss the opportunity to explore the joys of the railways as you discover more about Lancashire’s lost and lasting lines.
