Castle Crafts – Illuminated Keepsake Book Boxes

Decorate your own keepsake box to look like a medieval book and finish it with an Illuminated Letter. See examples of medieval illuminated lettering and the beautiful designs used in manuscripts, and learn fun facts about medieval writing as you create your box.

£6 per craft plus a sheet of fun facts to take home. Accompanying adults go free.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. This session is aimed at ages 5-11yrs, although older creatives are more than welcome!

Paints, and colouring pens will be used in this activity, as well as glue to affix some decorations, so clothes for messy activities are advised.
