Slaidburn Steam & Vintage Fair

Slaidburn Steam & Vintage Fair is a long‑running, much‑loved rural event celebrating steam engines, vintage vehicles, traditional crafts, and local heritage. It began in 1980 when a local resident parked his steam roller outside the Hark to Bounty pub, attracting so much interest that it grew into a full annual rally. Over the decades it has expanded into what many enthusiasts now consider a unique, firmly‑established steam rally, featuring steam engines, tractors, classic cars, fairground organs, craft demonstrations, and homemade food stalls.
