Situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley, nestled between the historic market town of Clitheroe and the quaint village of Whalley. With the Forest of Bowland on the doorstep, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bowland Retreat is surrounded by beautiful scenery.
•Guests are welcome to bring their bikes for their lodge stay or we promote bike hire (Ribble Valley E-bikes) we are well positioned in Great Mitton for many great cycling routes.
•Guests can enjoy lots of fabulous Ribble Valley walks, our most popular is the Tolkien trail and the Aspinall Arms Walks with Taste.
•1, 2 and 3 bedroom lodge options sleeping 2 – 6 guests.
•Each of our lodges has parking for 2 cars, and additional parking is available upon request.
•We have 2 and 3 bed lodges to welcome families. We have twin bedrooms and infant equipment available to hire (travel cot / high chair). We promote family friendly activities in the area.
•All of our lodges have Jacuzzi hot tubs sunken into decked verandas. Some are undercover with fiberoptic starlit lighting and others are open-air to soak in the scenery.
•We have some luxury spacious 1 bedroom lodges perfect for couples breaks and celebrating special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries and minimoon breaks.
