Also you can see across to Malham Moor and Malham Cove and the Aire Valley, and then over into Wharfedale.
Higher Gills is a working sheep farm, the Farmhouse & buildings were built in 1800 from local sandstone.
The stable block was converted in 1998 into 2 apartments, keeping as many of the original exterior features as possible.
